Nature's Paper Pieced Journey

Join us for a year-long paper-piecing class as we piece our way through the “Wonderful World of Paper-Pieced Quilt Blocks” by Liza Taylor.  The 30 nature-inspired designs can be made into your choice of runners, wall hangings or a quilt.  Choose your own fabrics and the size of blocks. The book includes patterns for 5” and 7” blocks.  At the first class we will reveal some new fabrics that you may want to use to make your blocks.

We will meet once a month at 5:15 pm in a lecture/demo format on the 3rd Tuesday of each month starting October 21, 2025 and continue through to September, 2026.  You may attend in-person or via zoom.  Classes will be recorded and posted to a private Facebook group, where everyone can share pictures of their blocks.

Required book is “Wonderful World of Paper-Pieced Quilt Blocks” by Liza Taylor.  As part of the class fee, you will receive a USB stick with the patterns for easy printing on foundation paper.

Class Fee is $10 at the time of sign up and $10 per month for 12 months.

Reduced rate for Sew-cializing to work on blocks in a classroom setting.

Supply list will be provided after sign up.

CLASS & EVENT POLICIES:No refunds if cancelled within 72 hours of class start time. Any refunds for cancellations made more than 72 hours from class/event start time will be in the form of a store credit, less a 10% cancellation fee. There are NO REFUNDS for outside educators, regardless of the cancel date. Classes must be paid in full at sign-up to reserve your spot.
