Sew Steady Quilting with Rulers Event (no ruler)

It is time to celebrate FIVE YEARS of Red-Roxy Ruler Club! 

We welcome Donelle McAdams to our celebration to share her quilting with rulers’ expertise.  Donelle is an accredited teacher for Westalee Design/Sew Steady.  She and Stacy Lewey, Managing Owner of Sew Steady, will join us virtually in our classroom.

Donelle will guide class participants in doing ruler work on a Dizzy Geese Block panel using the 6” spiral ruler.  The panel will then be made into a zippered project bag using Donelle’s Quick & Easy Mitered Tool.

The event will include ruler and Sew Steady table specials and door prizes.  There will be several holiday DM Quilting Templates available for purchase the night of the event.  Maybe we can get Stacy to give us a sneak preview of the 2026 Winter Elevate Box!

Participants may attend the event in-person or virtually.

Class Fee includes the Project Kit.  The kit includes pattern, panel, vinyl, fabric, batting, zipper, 2 packages of needles (microtex & topstitch), 2 spools of thread (Isacord and Presencia) and the Quick & Easy Mitered Tool.  Enrollment in this class does NOT include the REQUIRED ruler. 

The 6” spiral ruler, which is part of the Westalee Samper Templates is an OPTIONAL purchase.  If you need the ruler, please enroll in the other listed course to receive the ruler.

Other supplies needed will be a fabric marker, spacing gauge, small measuring ruler, an 8-point crosshair ruler, as well your sewing machine, ruler foot and favorite ruler work notions.  Cutting mats, rotary cutters and cutting rulers will be provided for classroom participants.

There are NO REFUNDS for outside educators, regardless of the cancel date. Classes must be paid in full at sign-up to reserve your spot.
